The Strong Women classes are for women who would like to train in the gym but are too anxious or worried about where to start.
The aim of these classes is to equip women with the knowledge and confidence to train independently. To never shy away from the weights area, to feel physically and mentally stronger and, most importantly, to enjoy training.
They are also about creating a supportive network and building friendships too.
We work in partnership with the Wolseley Trust Community Hub, to provide advice, guidance and support to our women, in other areas of their lives too.

Strong Women is 18+ and the sessions are attended by women of all abilities and ages above 18.
There are eight sessions each week (including early mornings and evenings).
Days and times are not publicised to ensure the protection of the women who attend. They will be provided upon request. Booking on to a session is required.
Sessions are run at Ford Community Gym, Plymouth
The Strong Women membership is £29.99 a month (paid on the 1st of the month).
A trial session is £8.
To join the Strong Women classes, fill out the form below. Please include your experience of exercising in or out of a gym (there is no right or wrong answer!) and any details of injuries and/or health-related conditions that might affect your training, which I need to be aware of.
