Strong with Brydie: Finding what is best for you

Personal Training

For women looking for strength training, which is tailored to them and their goals, then personal training is the best option.


Personal training is a fantastic way to train if you’re looking for something that is more bespoke to you and where you will see progression with your lifts week on week.


Most of my face-to-face personal training is offered within a small group. Not only is it a cost-effective way of having personal training, it is also proven to keep you on track with your training, it builds gym confidence, it is enjoyable and it's with a super supportive environment.


You will be coached through your own structured programme that is tailored to you, focusing on strength and fitness, and supporting your specific goals. It supports building your gym confidence and enables you to be more autonomous by setting up and getting the equipment you need.


For women who are want flexibility with their training days and times, but want the support of coaching, then Hybrid PT (remote and in-person coaching) would be a good fit. More information can be found below.


Other personal training options, such as specialist one-to-one training can be discussed.

Personal Training is 18+ and is attended by women of all ages and abilities.


Other personal training options, including for young people, can be discussed. 


Personal Training is eight sessions a month, taken as two sessions per week. To ensure consistency with training and to help ensure training is part of a weekly routine, I encourage the women who join me to keep with the same days and times. 


There can be some flexibility with this, where required. Days and times can be provided upon request. 


Sessions are run at Ford Community Gym, Plymouth 


For women who wish to train a bit more independently, at times and on days that work best for them, but still have all the benefits of being coached, then this is a great option.


A mix of remote coaching and in-person personal training, hybrid PT includes one in-person PT session a week, to cover specific lifts, and then a programme for 2-3 further sessions, for you to do at a gym of your choice, on days and times that suit you. With regular check-ins to ensure accountability. 


The cost of Personal Training is £120 a month. 


The cost of Hybrid Personal Training is £99 a month.


Yes, you can. As a PT client, you can add the Strong Women classes membership (access up to eight women-only classes a week) for £20 a month (instead of £29.99).


Personal Training spaces are limited and there is a waiting list. 


To join the waiting list, fill out the form below. Please include your experience of exercising in or out of a gym (there is no right or wrong answer!), which option(s) you are interested in, and any details of injuries and/or health-related conditions that might affect your training, which I need to be aware of.
