Strong Girls is a gym session aimed at girls, between the ages of 10-17, who are interested in learning how to lift and use the gym confidently and safely.
Strong Girls aims to challenge the mind and body and equip young women with the knowledge and confidence to train independently. They also aim to help young women to never shy away from the weights area, to feel physically and mentally stronger and, most importantly, to find an enjoyment in training.

Depending on the block of sessions, usually girls/young women between the ages of 10-17 years
Sports teams are encouraged to enquire to see what might be suitable and available
Strong Girls sessions are run as blocks of weekly or fortnightly sessions. Some blocks are funded, and others will be self-funded.
Days and times are not publicised to ensure the protection of the young women who attend. They will be provided upon request
Sessions are run at Ford Community Gym, Plymouth
Membership for Strong Girls will depend on the type of sessions offered. Please enquire.
